One to One Coaching
One to One Coaching is available for all abilities and ages and is the most efficient way of coaching. We look to enhance your overall game by looking at:
- Technique
- Mental approach
- fitness
One-to-one coaching sessions are one hour long (please note that bowling machine sessions may require 5-10 minutes setup time) and can be focused on any part of your game.
We charge £25 per hour for this service and may ask for reasonable travel expenses.
Group / Club coaching
We understand that Clubs can struggle to find suitable coaches to train junior and senior teams. This is where we can help. We can provide your club with a coach who can help improve your sports club’s.

One session, the whole season, pre season, we can meet your needs. We can supply the training equipment and will ensure that the sessions are fun and intense.

Coaching in schools – cricket or multi skills
Why not have you school team coached by the best?? The Lewdown Cricket Academy can supply cricket coaches to run your schools coaching set up, guide individual teams through a season or just to take one off cricket coaching sessions.
Out of School Clubs
We run weekly before and after school cricket or multi skills clubs throughout the school year and lunchtime clubs, where there is sufficient time. Ideally these clubs take place on a playground, but a playing field or indoor hall also works well. In the event of there being no indoor facility when the weather is inclement (which is surprisingly rare), we run classroom sessions where we talk about the rules of the game, tactics, etc. Sessions always run. To cut down on your administration, we have a standard letter which schools can send out to parents for out of school clubs with all the relevant details.
We charge £25 per hour for this service and may ask for reasonable travel expenses
PPA Cover / Curriculum Time
With many schools using sport as a way of covering PPA time, we can deliver high quality PPA cover and curriculum time cricket coaching for Key Stage 1 - 4 pupils focusing on skills and techniques and using them in game play to maximise fun and learning.
We charge £25 per hour for this service and may ask for reasonable travel expenses
Cricket Camps
Cricket Camps run throughout school holidays, giving children aged seven to fifteen a fantastic opportunity to discover more about cricket. Each child receives:
- expert coaching from qualified coaches
- takes part in fun and enjoyable activities
- take part in a kwik cricket tournament on the final day
Festivals / Tournaments
We run a number of senior and junior tournaments and competitions throughout the year for clubs, schools and companies. If you would like us to run one for you, please contact us for more information.
Multi Skills
Multi Skills are an excellent way for children to learn their ABCs

Our coaches have undergone multi skills training, hold the appropriate qualifications and are experienced in delivering these fun and engaging sessions. A mixture of activities, games and even tests are used.We charge £25 per hour for this service and may ask for reasonable travel expenses
Parties
We run softball cricket or multi skills parties all year round - indoors and outdoors - for boys and girls from the age of 5 and upwards, of all abilities. Cricket parties are a great alternative to football parties, and are fun for all children.
Previous experience of playing cricket is not required. Typical parties will include a mixture of different activities from catching games to throwing and batting games or a competitive match. Our qualified coaches provide all the equipment and the birthday child will receive a miniature cricket bat.
We will also send cricket party invitations for you to send out and specially designed attendance certificates which can be personalised for all the children.
We charge £25 per hour for this service (2 hours is a good period of time for the cricket part of the party). We also charge at cost for the miniature cricket bat, invitations and certificates.
